Knicks forward Kevin Knox placed in health and safety protocols

The New York Knicks have lost four in a row, and now, they've temporarily lost another member of their rotation due to COVID-19.

Knox -- in his fourth NBA season (all with the Knicks) -- has played in just eight games this year, but four of them have come in December as the team works through issues with the virus. With guys like RJ Barrett and rookie Quentin Grimes both recently entering the NBA's health and safety protocols, Knox played 20 minutes during the loss to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, and a season-high 28 minutes against the Bucks on Sunday.

The 2018 ninth overall pick is averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 8.9 minutes this season. He's gone 10-for-26 from the field (38.5%), 8-for-19 on three-pointers (42.1%) and 5-for-8 from the free throw line (62.5%).

New York is scheduled to play the Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday.
