If there’s one thing that is becoming more obvious, it’s that the New York Knicks are seeking another ballhandler and some depth in the backcourt.

Among those on their radar: Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line. We relayed here that the Knicks are also reportedly interested in Charlotte Hornets point guard Terry Rozier, Detroit Pistons guard/forward Alec Burks and Portland Trail Blazers guard Malcolm Brogdon.

The Knicks already pulled off one big deal this season, landing forward OG Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors. But they sent guard Immanuel Quickley to Toronto as part of the deal, and are now seemingly on the lookout for a replacement.

New York reportedly is looking to part ways with guard Quentin Grimes and Evan Fournier, and also has multiple draft picks at its disposal. And we all know Jazz CEO Danny Ainge loves draft picks.

“Word is that the Knicks have a level of interest in Utah’s Jordan Clarkson as well as a trio of guards they have been linked to previously: Portland’s Malcolm Brogdon, Charlotte’s Terry Rozier and Detroit’s Alec Burks,” Stein wrote.

Clarkson, 31, is averaging 17.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists, shooting 42 percent from the field and 31 percent on 3-pointers. He’s due $23.5 million this season.
