The New York Knicks intend to sign shooting guard DaQuan Jeffries to a 10-day contract, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Jeffries, 26, saw limited action with the Knicks earlier this season, appearing in 10 games. He was released when the Knicks made the OG Anunoby trade with the Toronto Raptors in December.

Jeffries has also spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies since entering the NBA in 2019. He carries career averages of 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 57 total games, shooting 43.7% from the field and 28.6% on 3-pointers.

Assuming Jeffries signs Thursday, his contract will be good through next weekend.

The Knicks (33-22) enter Thursday in second place in the Atlantic Division and fourth in the Eastern Conference.
