As I’ve said before, the Hawks are flipping the script in the second half of the season when it comes to the injury report (knock on wood). Danilo Gallinari and Bogdan Bogdanovic seem to be finally finding their form for the first time all season; De’Andre Hunter is back and should return to the starting lineup sooner rather than later; and now, Kris Dunn could be returning to the floor on the current road trip.

According to Travis Schlenk, Dunn will begin scrimmaging on Monday.

Dunn was signed to a 2-year, $10 million contract this past offseason. Unfortunately, though, he has yet to even make his Hawks debut, and we are well over halfway through the season. Still, Dunn has plenty of time to return and make an impact down the stretch. He is a decent scorer with some playmaking abilities; however, his value lies on the defensive end. The Hawks certainly could have used Dunn a couple of nights ago against De’Aaron Fox.
