Want to know one of the best trivia questions you can ask your friends at a bar? Just ask them who is the most popular porn star in the world. The answer is Kim Kardashian, but most people don’t realize it.

If you look back in time, Kim Kardashian was nothing more than the daughter of one of O.J. Simpson’s attorneys. She didn’t become famous until a sex tape of her and Ray J came out in 2007.

Despite a financial settlement with Vivid Entertainment, there has been plenty of speculation that Kardashian’s sex tape was intentionally leaked to raise her public profile, just like what happened with Paris Hilton in 2003. Not only does Kim’s “ex-husband” Kris Humphries believe that theory, but he also reportedly says that … get ready for this … Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, directed the tape.

According to TMZ, Humphries told ex-girlfriend Myla Sinanaj that “Kris Jenner not only directed Kim to shoot her sex tape, but to re-shoot because Kris J didn’t think the first one was pretty enough.”

Whether Kris was actually behind a camera arranging things is debatable — I doubt that’s the case — but I 100% believe she directed all the plans for the way Kim would become famous, just like she directs things behind-the-scenes now. Pretty nasty stuff, huh? America has lost sight of what made Kim K. famous, but you shouldn’t.
