Kyle Korver was the victim of a big April fools joke on Thursday. The sharpshooter played 17 seasons in the NBA, where he shared touches with a lot of players, including Dwyane Wade during the 2017/18 NBA season.

They reunited on Inside the NBA, replacing Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley, who are working on the ongoing March Madness tournament. Things appeared to be getting out of control when Korver was asked to read the teleprompter and announce a new ranking NBATV’s The List. Little he knew that he was about to take a shot at Dwyane Wade, who was sitting right next to him.

Adam Lefkoe: “Can you do this read on [camera] 1, Kyle?”

Korver: “Tomorrow, on NBATV, everyone’s favorite show The List returns at 8 p.m.,” Korver said. “Last week, we ranked the best dunkers. This week, we look at the worst teammates in the league’s history. My pick: D-Wade.”

He realized he was tricked and everybody started laughing. That didn’t stop Korver to give some flowers to Wade.

“He looks good, though. He always dresses real nice,” Korver added while Lefkoe, Wade, and Shaquille O’Neal laughed.

We watched a lot of good jokes on Thursday and this one was really funny. Luckily, it was just one time for Korver, who will try to be careful now with the things he reads.
