Lakers' Dennis Schroder, Kyle Kuzma reportedly 'feuded' throughout 2020-21 season

Los Angeles Lakers stars Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma reportedly feuded throughout the 2020-21 season, according to Jordan Schultz of ESPN, with things getting worse throughout the team's first-round series against the Phoenix Suns.

However, it's possible both players won't be in Los Angeles next season. Schroder is set to hit free agency, and Kuzma is considered one of the Lakers' more valuable trade assets this summer.

Schroder had a solid first season with the Lakers, averaging 15.4 points and 5.8 assists while shooting 43.7 percent from the field, but he wasn't a perfect fit with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The 27-year-old is reportedly expecting a $100 million to $120 million contract in free agency, which is something the Lakers probably wouldn't be willing to give him anyway.

The Lakers are also reportedly looking into upgrades at point guard, showing interest in both Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. So, while Schroder may want to return to L.A., his chances appear slim.

While the Lakers also appear ready to move on from Kuzma, the Michigan native might feel the same way, given recent comments he has made about "chemistry issues" in L.A.'s locker room.

With both players seemingly headed out the door, Lakers fans shouldn't worry too much about their reported feud.
