The Los Angeles Lakers are taking on the Atlanta Hawks on Monday at the Crypto.com Arena, and the status of their two stars remains in question.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis both remain questionable to play in Monday's game just about two hours before tip-off.

Davis is dealing with the left corneal abrasion that forced him to exit Saturday's loss against the Golden State Warriors early. James is dealing with a left ankle issue.

The Lakers need to take advantage of the lowly Hawks and get a win on Monday night. The Lakers currently sit at 36-32, one game behind the Warriors for the No. 9 spot in the Western Conference.

The Lakers are a full three games back behind the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, who fill the six, seven and eight spots, respectively.

The Lakers would love to avoid the Play-In altogether and reach the No. 6 spot, but getting to No. 7 or No. 8 is crucial so they aren't playing multiple win-or-go-home games to reach the playoffs.

As for the rest of the injury report, Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent and Christian Wood remain out.

Tip-off for Monday night's game is 7:30 p.m. PT.
