The Los Angeles Lakers officially will have their two-star players available tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are active for the game on the second night of a back-to-back.

Having both players available against the Thunder should bode well for the Lakers, especially given all the injuries that they have seen lately. Center Jaxson Hayes will not play in this game due to elbow soreness, limiting the Lakers front-court depth against the lengthy Thunder.

The Lakers will have their hands full with the Thunder tonight, as they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference right now, just ahead of LA. If the Lakers can get this victory, it would help them overtake the Thunder in the standings down the line and would set the precedent for tiebreakers with Oklahoma City as well.

LA is coming off a win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday evening, and they will be looking to grab this game before they head back home. They are 2-1 on their mini road trip so far and would love to continue building up wins in the standings.

They have seen a very up-and-down season so far, but the team has continued to push through all the adversity. Injuries and a bit of inconsistent play have plagued this team so far, but they seem to possibly be finding their footing.

Hopefully, the Lakers can get another road win, and end this trip on a high note. It won't be easy, but they do have the talent to make it happen.
