The Lakers are interested in potentially signing free agent forward Moe Harkless, per Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Harkless, 29, is 6-foot-7 and has been on the move quite a bit already his season. He was acquired by the Hawks in a trade with the Kings, along with Justin Holiday, for Kevin Huerter in July. He was then traded to the Thunder, and then the Rockets, before being waived.

Overall, he has been with six teams in 12 seasons, including stints with the Magic, Trail Blazers, Clippers, Knicks and Heat. Last season, he averaged 4.7 points in 46 games.

Stein noted that Harkless is only a 32 percent shooter on 3-pointers, which likely would not address the Lakers’ shooting woes.

“(B)ut theoretically helps address a lack of reliable wings that is almost as glaring as the Lakers’ shooting deficiencies,” Stein wrote.

Word has it, the Lakers have an interest in several other veteran free agents as well. You can check out our full list, updated daily, right here.
