LeBron James championship jersey could bring in several million dollars at auction

A LeBron James jersey from the 2013 NBA Finals, in which James won his second title with the Miami Heat, is hitting the auction block and could bring in a major price.

The jersey up for sale was worn by James in the first half of Game 7 of the series against the San Antonio Spurs, while Sotheby's Auction House tells TMZ it could bring in more than $3 million when it goes to auction.

That would make it the most valuable James jersey to ever hit auction and one of the most valuable jerseys of all time.

The Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs in the classic series, including a 95-88 win in Game 7 that saw James drop 37 points on the Spurs.

James was also named Finals MVP after averaging 25.3 points and more than 10 assists per game.

If this jersey reaches that price tag it would dwarf some of his previous jersey auctions.

His 2020 NBA All-Star jersey sold for more than $660,000, while a high school jersey went for $192,000. That was the jersey he wore on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
