Mark Price had a short peak as a player, but there's no doubt that he was among the best point guards in the league. From 1988 to 1994, Mark Price averaged 18.2 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 8.2 APG for the Cavaliers while shooting 40.6% from beyond the arc. His playstyle was definitely ahead of its time, and he would be even better in the modern era, which is more focused on the 3PT shot. Mark Price was an All-Star caliber player in his era, but he would likely be able to be an All-NBA player today.

While a lot of younger fans won't remember how good Mark Price was, it seems as though there are still some people who respect what Price was able to do on the basketball court. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has recently praised Mark Price in a pair of tweets, stating that the point guard was "cold" and "underrated".

MAN Mark Price was so cold!!!! BEYOND UNDERRATED!!!!!

There is no doubt that Mark Price was a fantastic player, but unfortunately, he was unable to make an NBA Finals or win a championship in his career. He had the same problem as many other stars: his career overlapped with Michael Jordan. There's no shame in losing to Michael Jordan, as many consider him the GOAT of basketball.

As someone who used to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers and as a player that grew up in Ohio, LeBron James knows just how good Mark Price was as a player. Price could do it all on the basketball court offensively and was one of the best 3PT shooters of his era. Some people even believe that Mark Price was "Steph Curry before Steph Curry". Hopefully, we see Mark Price get more recognition in the future. He is a Cleveland Cavaliers legend, and his No. 25 jersey is retired with the franchise.
