LeBron James strongly defends Jason Kidd's explosive response to reporter

Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd went viral on Tuesday night following his team's 121-115 victory over the Houston Rockets. Kidd was unquestionably annoyed about a question relating to the duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

The current coach and former player dropped some NSFW language in his response while also imploring the media to "write positive stuff," stating that "people will read your positive s***."

The day after Kidd's response took the internet by storm, one player who defended the coach was Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James

The 38-year-old superstar stated that for Kidd to curse, "you know he wasn't happy at all," while adding that the coach was heated  "and quite frankly right" in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

James isn't wrong, as Kidd is typically fairly even-keeled while speaking with the media. While he's certainly been a bit agitated before, this response was far from the norm for the Mavericks coach and grabbed plenty of attention partially due to that fact.
