LeBron James throws shade at Dillon Brooks, Grizzlies with Jay-Z lyrics

LeBron James let his play do the talking during the Los Angeles Lakers' first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies, resisting the urge to respond to the latter's continued trash talk.

Following the Lakers' emphatic series-clinching win on Friday, James decided to finally respond with some words of his own in a tweet on Saturday afternoon.

Well, with some words from Jay-Z at least.

Those lyrics come from the Jay-Z song "Trouble" and look to be a direct response to the Grizzlies.

Brooks had several comments before and during the series that raised eyebrows, but it was his comments after Game 2 that really received attention.

"I don't care — he's old. You know what I mean?" Brooks said, via ESPN. "I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that Game 4, Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on. But I poke bears. I don't respect no one until they come and give me 40."

Brooks and the Grizzlies were quickly humbled, with Brooks refusing to speak to the media toward the end of the series.

Along with his Twitter post, James also posted images on Instagram with the caption "if you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR."

The Lakers won Game 6, 125-85, to eliminate the Grizzlies and advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs.

The clear message from LeBron here is if you are going to come at the king, you better not miss. Brooks missed.
