What is scarier than last season’s version of LeBron James? We’re glad you asked. King James bulked up to Popeye levels as he prepares for his first run with the Los Angeles Lakers. That’s scarier.

In training with his new team, King James just posted this picture of himself on Instagram in Hulk-smash mode.

Those guns are bigger than this one scribe’s entire head.

Then again, this is excellent Photoshop work from Mr. James. It’s not real. But we’re pretty sure you already knew that.

James signed a four-year contract with the Lakers back in July. He’s seemingly set to play out the duration of that contract, if not longer.

Based on what we saw from the planet’s best player with Cleveland last season, there’s no real reason to question the King.
