The Los Angeles Clippers are set to make the playoffs

The Clippers are looking to make a deep run in the postseason this year. The addition of James Harden this season should make the team a contender for the Western Conference. However, one player who suffered an injury earlier in the season won’t be with the team for the rest of the spring.

The Clippers waived Josh Primo and are set to sign Kai Jones

According to Adrian Wojnarowski with ESPN, the Clippers waived Josh Primo. He averaged 16 points per game in the G League this season. The Clippers made the move after Primo suffered an ankle injury. The Clippers intend to fill Primo’s roster spot by signing Kai Jones.

The Charlotte Hornets drafted Jones with the No. 19 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. The former Texas standout played 67 games for Charlotte.
