LeBron James has been playing out of this world in the Los Angeles Lakers’ last two games, prompting Anthony Davis to remind everyone what’s actually happening.

James was sensational for the Lakers once again on Monday as he propelled the team to the 136-105 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

LeBron James Explodes as Los Angeles Lakers Continues West Climb

With Davis coming off an eye injury and the Lakers needing every win they can get to climb the West and potentially avoid the Play-In, James knew he had to step up in order to get the victory.

That’s exactly what James did against the Hawks, as he erupted for 25 points along with seven rebounds and 10 assists to lead the team to the blowout win. While it was D’Angelo Russell who top-scored for LA with 27 points on top of four rebounds and 10 assists, LeBron’s efficiency really stood out.

James actually shot 10-of-14 from the field, including 2-of-5 from 3-point territory. The Hawks, who own the third-worst defense in the league, simply had no way to stop him.

With the performance, James has now scored 65 points in his last two games with the Lakers. In their previous outing against the Warriors, LeBron actually dropped 40 points in a 128-121 loss.

Anthony Davis Speaks Out on LeBron James’ Dominance

Speaking to reporters after Monday’s game, Anthony Davis didn’t seem surprised by LeBron James’ recent incredible play. After all, AD knows what his teammate is capable of.

When asked about the numbers that LeBron has put up in their last two games, Davis had a simple but scary answer … scary for at least the other 29 teams in the NBA.

“It’s that time of the year,” Davis said, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Those who has followed James throughout his career knows what Davis is talking about. The Los Angeles Lakers star is known for flipping a switch late into the season when his team is gearing up for the playoffs. And sure enough, LeBron has done it again.

Indeed, that is enough to strike fear into the hearts of their rivals. The West better be ready.
