Lou Williams feels 'sorry' for opponents as Montrez Harrell returns to Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have perhaps the most loaded roster in the entire NBA and Lou Williams says that opponents should be worried about a motivated Montrez Harrell returning to the team.

"He's back ready to work," Williams said. "Obviously Trez is a high-energy guy, he is a guy that plays at a high level, extremely physical player, extremely emotional player. With some things on his mind, I feel sorry for the other guys on the other team."

Harrell returned to the bubble late Sunday after leaving due to the death of his grandmother. He is currently quarantining in Orlando but barring any unexpected setbacks, he should be back with the team in time for the playoffs. 

Over the course of the season, Harrell averaged 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Clippers, making him one of the favorites to win Sixth Man of the Year, an award that teammate Williams has won three times in the last five seasons.

The Clippers have not been at full strength since joining the bubble, as Williams, Harrell and Patrick Beverley all exited the bubble to attend to personal matters. Despite these absences, the team has been able to hold onto the no. 2 seed and remains one of the favorites to represent the Western Conference in the finals. But they look to face a tough challenge in the first round against the Dallas Mavericks, with Luka Doncic establishing himself as an elite player in only his second year in the NBA.
