Luka Doncic has been on a tear for the Dallas Mavericks in December while also helping his injury-plagued team keep its head above water in the West with a 5-4 record in games he’s played in.

Obviously, Doncic would love for that win-loss record to be better than what it’s been this month, but he’s doing everything he possibly can to will his team to victories while being without his co-star Kyrie Irving and breakout rookie starting center Dereck Lively II.

As Doncic continues to put up video-game numbers, he seemingly makes NBA and franchise history on a nightly basis. More history happened on Saturday night as the Mavs took on the San Antonio Spurs.

Doncic was already No. 7 on the Mavs’ all-time scoring list, and now he has pass 2011 champion and fan-favorite Jason Terry for No. 6 on the list. For context on how incredible Doncic’s trajectory has been, he’s played in 357 career games and is in his sixth season. Terry played in 619 games for the Mavs over a span of eight seasons.

Next up for Doncic on the Mavs’ all-time scoring list after he passes Terry is Michael Finley at No. 5 with 12,389 points. The four-time All-NBA First Teamer will likely pass Finley next season.
