Kevin Durant's recent dominance has drawn a lot of attention around the league and Magic Johnson heaped huge praise on the Brooklyn Nets superstar.

Kevin Durant is currently sidelined after picking up a knee injury during a recent game between the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat. The superstar was on a tear before that, posting incredible numbers and leading the Nets to fight for the top spots in the Eastern Conference alongside Kyrie Irving.

Before going down with this injury, Durant was really good and even had MVP consideration. So much so that the 2x NBA champion ranks 3rd on the most recent Fadeaway World's MVP rankings. Even now that he's out of action, Durant remains a hot topic around the league.

In recent hours, Draymond Green talked about his leadership, Richard Jefferson bashed his two Finals MVPs, and Jrue Holiday talked about the memorable 2021 series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets.

Kevin Durant Is A Top 5 MVP Candidate This Season

Magic Johnson also jumped on this train and sent a big message to Kevin Durant and three other stars that are sidelined after having an impressive 2022-22 season. Johnson took to Twitter to praise the former Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors for his MVP season.

Four guys that NBA fans like me can’t wait to come back and play are Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker and Anthony Davis. They were all having MVP-type seasons and have been dominate at their positions!

Durant has been on a roll, and he's hoping to return to the court before the 2023 All-Star Game. It's sad that after having a great season, once again, injuries showed up for KD. The Nets will start their journey without KD today when they receive the Boston Celtics in a big duel.

The two top teams in the East clash with each other, but without Durant, the Nets appear to be the underdog in this matchup. We hope Durant returns soon to pick things up and lead his squad to make a deep playoff run.
