The Magic have signed guard Sindarius Thornwell to a two-way contract and waived guard Devin Cannady, the team announced in a press release.

Thornwell is 6-foot-4 and played in 14 games with the Pelicans, averaging 1.2 points in 5.2 minutes. Overall, he has appeared in 153 career regular season games with the Clippers and Pelicans, averaging 2.5 points.

Cannady is 6-2 and played in eight games with Orlando, averaging 4.3 points. He signed a two-way contract with the team April 16, suffering a gruesome open dislocation of this right ankle nine days later.
