The Orlando Magic waived combo guard R.J. Hampton on Tuesday and converted the contract of forward Admiral Schofield to a standard NBA deal.

Schofield, 25, signed a two-year contract with the Magic in July. He's averaging 4.6 points and 13.0 minutes in 27 games off the bench this season.

Hampton, 22, was averaging 5.7 points and 13.9 minutes in 26 games off the bench this season. Hampton, taken No. 24 overall by Milwaukee in the 2020 draft, averages 7.0 points in 141 career games (16 starts) for Denver and the Magic.
