The Phoenix Suns play host to the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day, and the road squad won't have one of their best players available.

Dallas' injury report is showing Kyrie Irving will not be active tomorrow night.

OUT: Kyrie Irving (right heel contusion), Josh Green (right elbow sprain) and Maxi Kleber (right small toe dislocation).

QUESTIONABLE: Dereck Lively II (left ankle sprain).

Irving will miss now his ninth consecutive game with a heel injury. He's played in 17 games for Dallas thus far, averaging 23 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per night.

The Mavericks are 17-12 heading into Christmas Day. Their recent win over the Spurs snapped a three-game losing streak. They're currently the No. 6 seed in the west.

Phoenix, on the other hand, are clinging to the No. 10 spot with a 14-14 record after losing their last eight-of-eleven.

Suns injury report heading into Christmas:

Nassir Little (orbital fracture) is AVAILABLE

Josh Okogie (hip), Eric Gordon (hip), Yuta Watanabe (right finger sprain) are PROBABLE.

Bradley Beal (ankle), Jusuf Nurkic (personal), Damion Lee (knee) are OUT.

Suns-Mavs will tip just after 8:30 PM Arizona time at Footprint Center.

This will be the first meeting between the two sides this season.
