Mavericks star Luka Doncic expected to play Game 4 vs. Clippers despite neck strain

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is expected to play Sunday's Game 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers despite a neck strain, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

After the Mavericks' Game 3 loss on Friday, Doncic said he began experiencing pain in his neck around halftime. The discomfort went down his left arm.

Despite the pain, the 22-year-old put up 44 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

Doncic has been tremendous through the playoffs thus far, averaging 38 points, 8.7 rebounds and nine assists while shooting 51.9% from the field and 45.9% from deep.

The Mavericks lead the Clippers 2-1 in the series and will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in Game 4 on Sunday.
