Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic in the process of destroying the Atlanta Hawks Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Luka Doncic stole the headlines on Friday night with his huge game.

Doncic scored a career-high 73 points in his Dallas Mavericks’ 148-143 win over the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga. Doncic went an incredible 25-of-33 from the field, including 8-of-13 on threes. He made 15-of-16 free throws. He added 10 rebounds and seven assists for good measure.

After his huge accomplishment, the Mavericks had Doncic hold up a sign that had “73” written on it as an homage to the famous photo of Wilt Chamberlain following the center’s legendary 100-point game.

The Mavs also shared some very cool facts about the performance via X. The 73 points are a franchise high for the Mavs and ties Doncic for the fourth-most points scored in a game in NBA history. This was one of just 15 70-point games in NBA history.

Here are some highlights from Doncic’s performance.
