KYRIE BACK WITH MAVS The San Antonio Spurs' biggest rival is bringing back their All-Star point guard.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Dallas Mavericks are signing Kyrie Irving to a three-year, $126 million deal.

Irving was traded to the Mavs in February and now looks to team up with Luka Doncic for the foreseeable future.

JAKOB POELTL RETURN? The San Antonio Spurs could be welcoming back a familiar face.

According to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto, the San Antonio Spurs are among three teams to heavily pursue the 27-year-old big man. Other potential suitors include the Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets.

NIANG TO SA? According to HoopsHype insider Michael Scotto, the Spurs are among the teams interested in signing Philadelphia 76ers swingman Georges Niang.

"Niang is expected to receive free agency interest from the Bulls, 76ers, and Spurs, along with the Cavaliers, league sources told HoopsHype," Scotto writes.

Niang, 30, has been a key part of the 76ers' rotation for the past two seasons. In his Philadelphia tenure, he has averaged 8.7 points per game while shooting north of 40 percent from beyond the three-point line.

KBD HEADING OUT OF TOWN? The San Antonio Spurs may be interested in re-signing Keita Bates-Diop in free agency, but they will have some competition for his services.

Radio talk show host John Gambadoro mentioned that Bates-Diop could be a free agent option for the Phoenix Suns.

According to Heavy, the Boston Celtics are linked to Bates-Diop as well.

Bates-Diop, 27, averaged 9.7 points, 3.7 rebounds on 50 percent shooting, which all mark either the highest or the second-highest numbers of his career.
