Ryan Rollins was named MAC Freshman of Year and received All-MAC Honorable Mention MAC All-Freshman Team honors. He was a finalist for Kyle Macy National Freshman of Year. During his college years, he started all 30 games. He ranked second on team with 13.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 2.7 apg and 77 free throws made.

Personal Life

Ryan Rollins was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He played basketball for Dakota High School in Macomb Township, Michigan. During his junior year, he averaged 17.1 points, seven rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game, missing the second half of the season with a hamstring injury. But he made a comeback during his senior year, averaging 25.5 points, nine rebounds and five assists per game. This allowed him to earn second-team All-State honors from the Associated Press. With the support of his family, he committed to playing college basketball for Toledo, whose program prioritized him early in the recruiting process.
