TCU Athletics will retire the jersey of Kenrich Williams at a halftime ceremony when TCU plays Texas on February 3 in Schollmaier Arena.

Williams' jersey will be just the fifth time a jersey is retired for TCU men's basketball. He joins Kurt Thomas, Darrell Browder, James Cash, and Dick O'Neal as the only players to receive this honor.

Williams has been in the NBA for six seasons, the second-longest of any player from TCU. He has been an Oklahoma City Thunder for four seasons after starting his career undrafted with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018.

Graduating from TCU in 2018, Williams was a part of TCU's first trip to the NCAA Tournament in the Jamie Dixon era, named the NIT Most Outstanding Player in 2017, and earned the nickname "Kenny Hustle" for doing all the dirty work most players would not want to do.

Kenny Hustle was limited to only three seasons as a Horned Frog due to a knee injury that kept him out for the 2015-16 season. However, he still is fourth all-time in rebounds (877) and 25th in scoring (1,125) in TCU program history. He recorded 34 double-doubles and is one of five players in program history with 1,000 points and 800 rebounds in his time as a Frog. Earning All-Big 12 honors twice, Kenrich Williams is one of the best and most influential Horned Frogs of all time.

Williams is extremely deserving of this honor and was a monumental piece that helped pave the TCU men's basketball program into what it is today.
