Mikal Bridges has solidified his status as an NBA Iron Man, extending his remarkable streak of consecutive games played to an impressive 472. This streak spans over six consecutive seasons, showcasing Bridges' durability and reliability on the court. Since being drafted in 2018, Bridges has not missed a single game, a testament to his commitment to his team and his dedication to staying healthy.

Bridges' streak is the longest active one among NBA players, a remarkable feat considering the physical demands of the sport and the challenges of maintaining peak performance over an extended period. His ability to consistently suit up for games, even after being traded between teams, highlights his professionalism and adaptability in different environments.

Despite Bridges' impressive milestone, he remains a considerable distance away from the all-time record held by A.C. Green, a three-time NBA champion. Green's remarkable streak of 1,192 consecutive games played stands as one of the most enduring records in NBA history, equivalent to an astonishing 14.54 seasons in the league.

To surpass Green's record, Bridges would need to play an additional 721 games, equivalent to approximately eight full NBA seasons plus an additional 65 games. Achieving this feat would require Bridges to maintain his durability and longevity well into his mid-30s, a formidable challenge even for the most durable athletes.

Nevertheless, Bridges' accomplishment of playing in 472 consecutive games is a remarkable achievement in its own right and underscores his importance to his team. As he continues his career, Bridges will undoubtedly aim to extend his streak for as long as possible, leaving a lasting legacy as one of the NBA's most durable and dependable players.

Josh Hart Hints At Potential Knicks Trade For Mikal Bridges

The possibility of a trade involving Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart has sparked speculation among New York Knicks fans, fueled by Hart's efforts to sway Bridges towards joining the Knicks.

Since Hart's arrival in New York, he has skirted the line of tampering regulations by expressing his desire for Bridges to don the Knicks' colors, despite the fact that any potential trade would ultimately be decided by the Brooklyn Nets, who hold Bridges under contract until the 2025-26 season.

While the likelihood of such a trade seems remote, given the rivalry between the Knicks and the Nets, some Knicks supporters remain hopeful that Bridges will reunite with his former Villanova teammate at Madison Square Garden.

Hart has also been active in fostering this hope, recently engaging in a Chipotle commercial with Bridges where he queried whether Bridges would like to be teammates again. Bridges' affirmative response further fueled speculation and drew the ire of Nets fans, who felt slighted by his apparent openness to the idea of playing alongside Hart again.

Bridges' tenure with the Nets has been marked by mixed sentiments from fans, with some expressing disappointment over his perceived lack of loyalty to the team. Despite this, Bridges' remarks at a recent game, thanking the fans for their support amid a challenging season, showcased his appreciation for the Brooklyn faithful.

The relationship between Bridges and Hart dates back to their collegiate days at Villanova, where they won a championship together in 2016. Their camaraderie continued on the international stage, representing the United States at the FIBA World Cup.

While a reunion in the NBA remains uncertain, given Bridges' contractual obligations and the dynamics of the trade market, their friendship, and shared experiences suggest that the possibility of playing together again remains a cherished hope for both players.

As speculation swirls around Bridges' future with the Nets and the potential for a trade, Knicks fans remain optimistic, albeit cautiously, that one day Bridges' wish to reunite with Hart may come to fruition. However, given the competitive landscape of the NBA and the complexities of player contracts and trade negotiations, the realization of this dream remains uncertain.
