In the midst of an important week for Indiana basketball, with home games against Iowa and Penn State, coach Mike Woodson has continued his pursuit of class of 2025 in-state recruits Braylon Mullins and Trent Sisley.
After the Hoosiers secured a 74-68 win over Iowa on Tuesday, Woodson and assistant coach Brian Walsh visited Mullins Wednesday at Greenfield-Central High School in Greenfield, Ind., just east of Indianapolis.
Mullins is putting together an impressive junior season, leading Greenfield-Central to a 16-0 record an No. 6 ranking in Class 4A. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is averaging 27.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.8 steals while shooting 41.4% from 3-point range.
He recently scored 51 points and hit a game-winning buzzer beater to defeat Pendleton Heights in double-overtime. Mullins has visited Indiana multiple times.
Mullins is a four-star recruit, ranked No. 65 in the nation and No. 4 in Indiana, according to the 247Sports Composite. He holds offers from Butler, Ball State, Cincinnati, Indiana State, Iowa, IUPUI, Ken State, Miami (OH), Notre Dame, Ohio, Southern Indiana, Toledo, Tulane, Valparaiso and Virginia Tech. Mullins is also hearing from Purdue, Virginia, Wisconsin and Illinois, according to a recent report form 24/7 High School Hoops.
Greenfield-Central plays at Delta High School on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Following a visit with Mullins, Woodson will visit Trent Sisley on Thursday, as first reported by Jake Weingarten. Sisley plays for Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City, Ind., near the Kentucky border, and they host Boonville High School Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
Sisley is a versatile 6-foot-7 forward, averaging 24.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists during his junior season. Dating back to his freshman season, Sisley is a 40% 3-point shooter on 188 attempts, according to MaxPreps. He's a four-star recruit, ranked No. 69 in the nation and No. 5 in Indiana, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Sisley has visited Indiana multiple times throughout his recruitment, and he also holds offers from Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, UCF, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Sisley and Mullins will team up on the Indiana Elite AAU team on the Adidas 3SSB circuit after the high school season.
Indiana currently does not have any commitments in the class of 2025, though very few players in that class have picked a college. Five-star small forward Liam McNeeley is Indiana's lone commit in the class of 2024 so far.
