San Antonio Spurs’ Legend Tim Duncan is the next 100 OVR player in NBA 2K24 MyTEAM thanks to the upcoming Cerebral Event. This new set also adds several other Dark Matter Players, like Paul George, DeMar DeRozan, and more. Furthermore, players can collect some Galaxy Opal and Pink Diamond player items to improve their MyTEAM collections. Without further ado, let’s check out everything new in the NBA 2K24 MyTEAM Cerebral event.

NBA 2K24 MyTEAM Cerebral – How Do You Get 100 OVR Tim Duncan?

The 100 OVR Tim Duncan player item in NBA 2K24 MyTEAM can be unlocked in special inserts via Cerebral Packs & Boxes. Cerebral begins on Friday, May 10th, 2024. Additionally, the developers added a Cerebral Agenda Group, which you can complete to earn more Cerebral Packs, including a Deluxe Pack.

The NBA 2K24 Cerebral Special Inserts include:

  • 100 Overall Tim Duncan

  • Dark Matter Oscar Robertson
  • Dark Matter DeMar DeRozan

  • Dark Matter Tim Thomas
  • Dark Matter Joe Johnson

The NBA 2K24 MyTEAMCerebral Collection Reward is a Dark Matter or 100 OVR Cerebral Player Card. Other Cerebral player items include:

  • Galaxy Opal Dwight Howard
  • Galaxy Opal Donovan Mitchell
  • Galaxy Opal Amen Thompson
  • Pink Diamond Bilal Coulibaly
  • Pink Diamond Jeremy Sochan
  • Pink Diamond Sim Bhullar

Like the other 100 OVR player items, Tim Duncan needs no introduction. The Spurs’ legend was instrumental in helping the team win five NBA Championships. Before his NBA career began, the Spurs never won an NBA Championship, or a Conference Title for that matter. Furthermore, he helped the team earn 12 division titles, when the Franchise only had nine before he arrived.

The first overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft is, without a doubt, one of the best players to ever grace the court. His longstanding relationship with long time head coach Gregg Popovich saw Duncan remain a Spur throughout his nineteen year career. Together, the two brought an exciting era for the franchise. However, the Spurs might just have a new golden era coming soon, with Victor Wembanyama exceeding expectations.

A couple of other notable names on the Dark Matter list includes both Paul George and DeMar DeRozan. Both veterans are still in the league, and still performing well too. We’re not sure if George, a 9-time All-Star, will remain with the Clippers. However, his impressive tenure with the team shows he’s still got what it takes. The same goes for DeRozan, who’s still one of the the best mid-range shooters in the league.

When you get towards the Galaxy Opal Cards, both Dwight Howard and Donovan Mitchell pop out right away. Howard was a phenomenal player for the first 10 or so years of his career. Like many other vets, he obviously wasn’t able to maintain a high level of play. Regardless, he enjoyed a long NBA career that spanned almost 20 years.

Donovan Mitchell meanwhile, is still in the prime of his career. He and the Cavaliers currently face a tough battle against the Celtics in the Conference Semi Finals. However, Cleveland isn’t out yet, and hopes to turn the series around soon.

Overall, that includes everything you need to know about the NBA 2K24 MyTEAM Cerebral Event, which includes a 100 OVR Tim Duncan. For more NBA 2K content, try redeeming the latest locker codes. Furthermore, Season 6 won’t be around much longer, as it offers both MyTEAM and MyCAREER rewards. Lastly, stay tuned for the latest episodes of 2KTV.
