Giannis Antetokounmpo joined a terrible list of players who got injured during the 2021 NBA playoffs. NBA fans have seen their favorite stars going down since the regular season's final days, and things haven't changed now that we're in the conference finals.

After Trae Young suffered an injury in Game 3 of the Milwaukee Bucks-Atlanta Hawks series, Giannis joined the young guard after hyperextending his left knee. The 2x NBA MVP was the latest name to join a terrible list of injured players this postseason.

CBS Sports shared a graphic with all the big names that have suffered an injury during the playoffs. Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and more players went down during this postseason, affecting their teams' chances to have a deep playoffs run.

Fans started calling this season a 'Mickey Mouse' one after all these injuries. Even Bill Simmons said that whoever wins the championship this year will get the most unimpressive title of all time

We were ready to live one of the most exciting playoffs in recent times, but injuries prevented us from watching a healthy Lakers team, healthy Nets, Clippers, and more. It's a shame that things developed this way, but injuries are part of the game, too.
