NBA bets: Friday three-pointer props

We're back to a loaded NBA slate, and Friday's action brings forth some very intriguing targets for three-point props.

As of this writing, there are a few targets not yet posted. I'll note that Evan Fournier once again is a name to consider, as are some Houston shooters against Portland.

Let's get to the few spots already available to us.

Donovan Mitchell

I'm blown away by Mitchell's volume from deep.

In his past five games, the Jazz guard is averaging an absurd 14.2 three-point attempts per game.

That is the highest number I've seen since I first started digging in to this market. He's in a good spot to capitalize on the shot volume, getting a Charlotte team that lets up the second-most threes per game.

The Hornets are also allowing opponents to shoot 35.9% from deep, the eighth-highest mark in the NBA.

I love this spot for Mitchell, who has made five-plus threes in four of his last five games.

Unfortunately we can't seem to ladder Mitchell's threes, thus subjected to only his standard over/under. I'll put one unit on this play.

Betting options:

  • Over 4.5 threes (+105 DraftKings)

Jordan Poole

The Warriors continue to find themselves in advantageous spots for threes, so we continue loading them up here in these articles.

Klay Thompson is back, but I think Poole's recent play makes him the preferred option here.

Thompson's attempts are slightly higher, so he's a fine option against an Atlanta defense allowing the eighth-most threes per game.

Ultimately I'm rolling with Poole, who has 13 attempts from deep in three of his last four games.

It's elite volume, and Poole has steadily been making his long-range shots. Poole has made 22 threes in his last four games.

I'll be putting .75u on the first spot here and .25u on the second.

Betting options:

  • Over 3.5 threes (-130 DK)
  • 5+ threes (+170 FanDuel)

Luka Doncic

Luka is back, along with his tremendous shot volume from three-point range.

Doncic has attempted 10+ threes in nine consecutive games, bringing us a rock-solid role as a shooter on this Mavericks offense.

Tonight, Doncic gets Minnesota, which has allowed the sixth-most threes per game this season.

We get some decent odds here for threes, especially considering he's made four or more in six of his last nine games.

Betting options:

  • 4+ threes (+100 FD)
  • 5+ threes (+240 FD)

Enjoy this Friday in the NBA, and best of luck if you join the ride here on some three-point props.
