NBA Betting: Wiesguy's 2 Picks and a Prop for 1/9

Even though Day 1 was a rocky start last week, we rallied quickly and we have had three out of four winning days overall.

Tonight, all eyes might be on the NCAAF Championship Game between Georgia and TCU, loving the Dawgs vs. the Frogs, but let's try and steal some NBA wins too.

Picks and Prop Records

NBA Sides:  5-3

NBA Props: 1-3

Winning Days: 3 (of 4)

January 5 in Review

Boston Celtics -3 (win)

The C's got a super easy win at Dallas that night. Laughably easy.

Denver Nuggets -5.5 (win)

Denver was also an easy winner at home against the Clippers.
Ivica Zubac Over 10.5 Points and Assists  (loss)

Zubac barely played in this one and came up short due to the score and situation. I did not see the Nuggets total domination coming.

NBA Picks for Monday, January 9

Milwaukee Bucks -1 (at New York Knicks)

The Bucks were just awful in their last game, losing to Charlotte by 29. A loss is one thing but they were never in the game after giving up a whopping 51 points in the opening quarter. New York is a good team but they are going to be facing an angry Bucks squad and even at home they are not going to be up to the challenge. They do not have a Giannis stopper.

Washington Wizards -1.5 (vs New Orleans Pelicans)

Both teams are missing their top scorers in Bradley Beal and Zion Williamson tonight. The Pelicans are missing more than that and it is going to hurt them on the road, where they struggle anyway. Washington's front court can be very effective against a depleted New Orleans team tonight and they only need to win by a bucket to cash.

NBA Prop

Cole Anthony Over 15.5 Points and Assists

Anthony's scoring has been down this season. He hasn't totally fit into the Magic's plans the way they thought he would when they drafted him but, nevertheless, playing the Kings is a great way to goose up your stats. Sacramento plays with pace and does not play much defense. I think Anthony can get to this total on points alone. He is not always great on sharing the rock so that is a good thing.
