To this point, there’s been little real information divulged about the 2024 NBA Draft class.

Since prospects started their respective collegiate and professional seasons, more questions have arose than been answered. One of those being: is Cody Williams legit?

The brother of current Thunder star Jalen Williams, Cody got off to a white-hot start with Colorado, boosting his stock tremendously in the process.

Then, he suffered a wrist injury, sidelining him for more than a month and leaving plenty of questions about his ability with just seven-game sample.

Now, Williams has returned from injury, and in two games, is already re-inserting himself back into draft conversations.

Williams has potentially been at his best in the scoring department, undoubtedly a surprise as his offensive and defensive connectedness is his real selling point. Still, he’s scored less than double figures just twice this season: in his first and third-ever collegiate games.

Even coming back from injury was was able to finish in double-figure scoring, pushing his streak to six games with 13 points against USC Saturday.

In his first game back, he scored 16 points, tacking on four rebounds, two blocks and two assists in the process.

On the season, the forward is now averaging 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 56% overall.

Williams and the Buffaloes will take on 13-3 Oregon tonight at 9:30 p.m. The Ducks have a talented, versatile freshman of their own in Kwame Evans Jr., and the game is sure to yield valuable 2024 draft information.
