Evan Mobley is one of the most promising young power forwards in the game. He is known for being a force on the defensive end, and he also has a fairly versatile offensive game. Currently, Evan Mobley is averaging 15.0 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 2.6 APG.

There is no doubt that Evan Mobley's talent has caught the eye of many around the league. Lakers star Anthony Davis has even compared Evan Mobley to himself when he was entering the league.

Recently, an NBA executive claimed that there is no "other rookie" that "impacts winning as much as Evan Mobley". The executive also claimed that Evan Mobley should be the Rookie of the Year. Frank Urbina of HoopsHype relayed the news.

Plus, the fact that the Cleveland Cavaliers are enjoying a solid season with a 41-32 record – their best non-LeBron James campaign this century – will only help Mobley’s Rookie of the Year case.

“No other rookie impacts winning as much as Evan Mobley has in Cleveland, and he’s done it on both ends of the floor,” an NBA executive told HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. “If you consider where the Cavaliers were a year ago compared to this season, you see why he is touted to be the best player in this draft class and why the Cavaliers have made such a huge leap this season. At 7-feet tall, he has all the tools to become a generational talent. Combine his statistical season and Cleveland’s run into the postseason, there is no doubt he should be named NBA Rookie of the Year.”

There's no doubt that Evan Mobley has a deserving case for Rookie of the Year. He is one of the best defensive power forwards in the game already, and it's likely he will only get better.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have definitely improved with Evan Mobley in the fold this season. They have recently clinched their first winning season without LeBron James since the 1997-98 season, and the sky is the limit for their core.
