NBA props for 3/27: Amen will get the last word

Yesterday Giannis had 21 rebounds in the Bucks' loss to the Lakers. That was not enough to best AD in the category though (he had 23). Bummer. However, all of our other picks came through for a profitable Tuesday. Thank you, Lu Dort, thank you, Lu Dort.

Tonight there are 12 NBA games on the schedule. I am guessing the Association wanted to load up before the return of the NCAAs. Phoenix at Denver is the one I have circled so it looks like I am going to be staying up late.

NBA Props for Wednesday, March 27

Amen Thompson Over 1.5 Steals (+170)

The athletic rookie wing is seeing more and more playing time as the season progresses. The payoff definitely caught my eye here, but looking closer I see that he has at least one steal in nine straight games, and in a third of those he grabbed a couple. This is going to be a test for the rookie as OKC does not turn it over a ton but at that payoff, it is worth a shot.

Wendell Carter Jr. Over 7.5 Rebounds (+105)

I think the Magic were expecting more from Carter when they acquired him. Nevertheless, he is pretty solid on the glass and this is not too much of a reach for him (he averages 7 rpg). I like the matchup against a Golden State team that is not blessed with great size. His rebounding has been more consistent than his scoring this season. He has been above this total eight times in his last 10 games.

Paolo Banchero Over 7.5 Rebounds (+114)

Usually, when I double up on a team I do it with points but I like the rebound side here. Banchero is bigger than most realize and when committed to the glass can be a factor. His minutes are always where we want them to be for a maximum performance and unless both players get into foul trouble the chances of both going under feels low. A few games back Banchero only had one rebound but Carter cashed had eight in that game so the bet pairing was net-positive.

Devin Booker Over 2.5 Three Pointers (+100)

I know this is not going to be a massive payoff but this feels way underpriced (should be -120). Phoenix is at Denver tonight and they are going to need him to score. Also, Denver is likely without Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon on the wing. Lastly, Booker has made at least three from behind the arc in three straight games and his volume is always more than enough.
