NBA Props for Friday Jan. 26: We like Ayton on the boards

I guess yesterday was a bad day for assist props, which come to think of I have not had a ton of success with overall this season. Pascal Siakam came through on the boards though, he was the only winner on a 1-3 day overall.

Now we need a good Friday to finish in the black for the week. There are eight games tonight to choose from as we ease into Conference Championship Games in the NFL.

Results to Date: 73-12, -242.3 Units  (points for honesty)

NBA Props for Friday Jan. 26

Bradley Beal Over 1.5 Three Pointers (+130)

The Suns have won seven in a row, primarily leaning on a strong offense. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are scoring more than Beal, but he has been strong in support. He has been sharp from the outside too, making at least this many threes in four of the last seven games. Indiana is not playing as fast as they used but this will be anything but a slow game. There will be lots of opportunities.

Andrew Nembhard Over 6.5 Assists (+100)

Nembhard is trying to make the most of the absence of Ty Haliburton. There is no doubt to me that he can be a starting point guard in the NBA and with the increased opportunities he has produced at least six assists, five times in the last six games. Phoenix is mediocre on defense at best and does not really have a guy who can pressure lead guards so look for a big game.

Jontay Porter Over 4.5 Rebounds (+120)

The Toronto Raptors are in transition. That and injury have made Porter the starting center for the time being. His minutes are not huge but he knows his role and tries to fill it. This is right at seasonal averages but that +120 playoffs makes it very enticing. He is basically going over this total half the time so it is well worth the risk.

Deandre Ayton More Rebounds than Victor Wembanyama (+110)

These teams have met twice this season in Portland but Ayton did not play in either game and Wembanyama only played in one. In that game, he only grabbed just six rebounds despite Portland not offering up any real size to contest. With Ayton available tonight the rebounds are not going to be as easy to come by. That is the best part of his game.
