NBA props for Wednesday March 13: JV to get things going

Yesterday was a good day with a 3-1 record. I was a little nervous about Giannis hitting his rebound prop because the Bucks were not competitive against Sacramento, but I guess that is just what he does. My Pacers guys came through too, so there will be more Andrew Nembhard love in the future for sure. The lone loss was on Brice Sensabaugh. He might be dead to me, get it?

Tonight we have nine games on the schedule. That includes an NBA Finals rematch from a year ago in Miami but the game I am more into is New Orleans at Cleveland. Lakers at Kings is not bad either but the Kings did play last night.

NBA Props for Wednesday, March 13

Gary Harris Over 6.5 Points (+105)
Nets at Magic, 7 p.m. ET

This is definitely under the radar but it is also a chance to get that positive payoff without needing anything more than average production. His minutes are more than enough to cover this and the matchup with Brooklyn is favorable. The return of Jalen Suggs and Markelle Fultz could be a thing but his highest scoring games in the last 10 were with them in the lineup.

Jonas Valanciunas Over 10.5 Points (+100)
Cavs at Pelicans, 7:30 p.m. ET

Over the last few games, JV has not been a real part of the offense. I am not sure what the story is there but against a team like Cleveland, they are going to need him on the floor to make sure that Jarrett Allen does not get all the rebounds, literally. This number is a full bucket under his seasonal average and I can look past the recent results.

Donovan Mitchell More Assists than Brandon Ingram (+120)
Cavs at Pelicans, 7:30 p.m. ET

Mitchell has missed a few games lately. Ingram grabbed 10 assists in his last game. Those are the facts, but for the season on the whole Mitchell is averaging more assists per game and now that he is back I do not think there are going to be any restrictions on him. It doesn't make sense to play him if there are. Look for a big game and he might even be more inclined to be a distributor as he eases back into it.

Derrick Jones Jr. Over 2.5 Rebounds (+135)
Warriors at Mavericks, 8:30 p.m ET

This is a player who always leaves you wanting more. Tonight he is likely in the starting lineup again and the opponent is a very light rebounding team. I think his athleticism shines through and we only need him to grab a few caroms. Plus that price is hard to beat for a non-alt line. This one should have been priced at +105 at the most.
