Ben Simmons has been linked to a move away from Philadelphia in recent times. Plenty of teams around the league seem ready to move for the talented point guard, and the Sixers aren't against that idea. Yet, they must get the right offer to unlock negotiations.

The San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, and more teams have been named potential suitors for Simmons' services. The Australian point guard can still impact the league, and the rest of the franchises know that.

A surprising team that could lure him away from Philly is the Sacramento Kings, a struggling squad that hasn't made the NBA playoffs since Simmons was a kid.

Per Landon Buford:

Kings and Sixers have had preliminary discussions on a deal that would send Simmons to Sacramento in exchange for De'Aaron Fox. Kings initial offer was oriented around Buddy Hield, per Source.

Unclear if Fox is on the table yet, but the Sixers remain engaged at the prospect of a Fox-Embiid duo.

Warriors and Clippers have also both inquired about Ben's availability- but no serious offers yet.

According to Buford, the Sixers don't see with bad eyes trading for Fox, but it's fair to ask what the difference would be between him and Simmons. The Kings star isn't a shooter, and that's the main reason why Ben has received so much criticism around the league.

The Ben Simmons saga appears to be one of the most entertaining events of the summer, and we can't wait to see what will happen with this man.
