NBA to name 'all-bubble team,' seeding games MVP

The NBA will honor the best of the best from the first segment of games held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex bubble site.

On Tuesday, the Association announced a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters who are inside the isolated temporary hub will vote on an All-Seeding Games Team and also the NBA Player of the Seeding Games for the contests conducted from July 30 through Aug. 14.

The All-Seeding Games Team will feature five players for a first-team and five for a second-team. Players at any position from either conference can be selected.

These awards will be announced before Saturday's Western Conference play-in game scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm ET.

The playoffs begin Aug. 17.

The NBA previously declared that standard regular-season awards would be voted on for contests played through March 11, when the NBA halted the 2019-20 campaign because of the coronavirus pandemic.
