Will Nets guard Kyrie Irving heat up from downtown Tuesday night against the Magic? Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

NBA Tuesday prop bets: Backing three-point volume

Fresh off a clean sweep of plus-money NBA props, we're back to the well with the same approach at three-pointer props.

This approach has been wildly simple. Find defenses that allow three-pointers and target a player on the team facing them that shoots the most from deep.

This 7-0 betting approach is surely not sustainable, but it's been interesting nonetheless to see these circled spots not just hit their props but post massive games.

Tonight offers three such games to target, so let's touch on each spot that fits the bill. Betting options and odds are included for your own reference as you consider any bets tonight.

Saddiq Bey

Saddiq Bey is facing off against the Miami Heat Tuesday, who let up the eighth-most threes per game this season.

Bey comes in with the best shooting volume on this Detroit side, averaging 6.8 attempts per game in his last ten.

He's also had success against this Heat defense this year, making three-plus threes in all three previous contests.

Despite not going over his 2.5 line in four straight games, Bey seems to be the best option Tuesday

Betting options:

  • 3+ threes (-136 FanDuel)

Kyrie Irving

We correctly telegraphed Irving's massive night last week, draining nine threes and scoring 50 on the Charlotte Hornets last Tuesday.

We had noticed that Kyrie hadn't made over three threes in a game despite shooting eight-plus times from deep per game.

Since then, Irving has chucked up 23 threes in his past two games, making 14.

On Tuesday  night, he gets an Orlando team allowing the ninth-most threes per game and allowing the sixth-highest three point percentage to opponents.

The Magic also seemingly struggle guarding point guards, so there's a lot to like for Irving once again Tuesday.

Betting Options:

  • 3+ threes (-136 FD)
  • 4+ threes (+192 FD)
  • 5+ threes (+470 FD)

Devin Booker

I'm surprised to see Devin Booker bring such favorable odds to make just three threes tonight. The Pelicans are a bottom-10 defense in allowing threes and opponent 3P%.

Booker is a high-volume shooter, with seven-plus three-point attempts in five straight games.

He's also made three-plus in four straight games. He only had two against New Orleans two weeks ago, but he shot eight times from long-range.

I'll gladly follow this volume against this poor opponent.

Betting Options:

  • 3+ threes (-120 FD)
  • 4+ threes (+225 FD)
