Jim Boylen, former head coach of the Chicago Bulls, is being talked about again because of a just-published article about him.

In a candid interview, Boylen spoke about his time leading the Bulls, who were one of the most troubled teams in the NBA at the time.

As we all know, that is no longer the case and the Bulls now have a very good chance of ending the season as the number one seed in the East.

His comments about his time with the Bulls cast a lot of the blame on Chicago’s front office and the roster itself.

Boylen’s words have struck a chord with NBA fans throughout the internet.

Unfortunately for Boylen, most of the reaction to his interview is not very kind and is only reminding people of how bad the Bulls were under his guidance.

Bulls Under Boylen

Chicago fans came out in force when Boylen’s interview surfaced.

Most of them were unhappy to see him again, having put that era of the team behind them.

Indeed, most people who love the Bulls look back at the Boylen period as a dark, dark time in the team’s history.

Under Boylen, the team consistently failed and never came close to making it far in the playoffs.

Even back then, fans were upset with the style that Boylen employed and that he didn’t foster a positive environment with his young roster.

For those reasons, some people feel like he should never be welcomed back into the NBA.

Many others pointed out that Boylen seemed to ignore one key feature that held the team back: himself.

Considering the talent on the team when he was coach, there are quite a few people who feel that the biggest issue handicapping the team was none other than the coach.

One thing all Chicago fans can agree on is that things are looking much better now than they were under Boylen.
