Nets expect 'one of the biggest trade returns in league history' for Kevin Durant

If the Brooklyn Nets are to accommodate Kevin Durant's recent trade request and send out the superstar, they'll of course be looking for a significant return. Durant is, after all, a 12-time All-Star and former league MVP who will still be one of, if not the best player in the NBA.

ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday afternoon just how much the Nets might be seeking in exchange for the 33-year-old future Hall-of-Famer.

While it was initially reported that the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns were on Durant's "wish list," plenty of other teams have been rumored to be involved in discussions surrounding "KD." It was even reported on Monday that one of Durant's former teams -- the Golden State Warriors -- had talked with him about a potential reunion.

Durant was limited to 55 games during the 2021-22 season due to a sprained MCL, but was his usual dominant self when on the court. His 29.9 points per game during the regular season were his highest in eight years, his 7.4 rebounds per contest were his highest in five years and his 6.4 assists per tilt were a career-high.
