Nets' James Harden out at least 10 days; Kevin Durant probable to return Wednesday

Brooklyn Nets star James Harden recently missed two games due to right hamstring tightness but returned to action for Monday's matchup against the New York Knicks. That comeback was short-lived, however, as he reaggravated the hamstring after playing just four minutes.

The Nets confirmed on Tuesday that the Most Valuable Player candidate suffered a right hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in approximately 10 days:

Per ESPN stats, Harden leads the NBA with 10.9 assists per game and is also averaging 25.2 points and 8.0 rebounds.

It's not all bad news for Brooklyn, however, as two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant is probable to return Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans:

Durant last played on Feb. 13 and has been sidelined with a lingering hamstring strain. He's appeared in just 19 contests this season and was averaging 29.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists before the injury.

Ahead of Tuesday's games, Brooklyn sat atop the Eastern Conference standings with a 35-16 record.
