Nets' Kyrie Irving shares 20-year-old Alex Jones conspiracy theory video

Kyrie Irving has spent most of the offseason embroiled in turmoil with his team, the Brooklyn Nets, over the stars' desire to be traded.

While Irving remains with the Nets, for now, the seven-time All-Star made headlines Thursday for a different reason.

Irving caused a significant stir after sharing an Alex Jones "New World Order" conspiracy theory video from 2002 on his Instagram page. The video is par for the course as far as Jones's content goes. Also, Iriving's post is still up for those curious.

Irving is no stranger to controversy. In the past, he's made flat-earth claims and created a fuss about vaccinations for COVID-19.

Throughout the summer, it looked as if Irving would undoubtedly be on his way out of Brooklyn. However, sitting in mid-September, Irving is still a member of the Nets. In Late August, the Nets were reportedly telling teams asking about Irving that he was staying in Brooklyn.

Irving is entering the final season of a four-year, $136.4 million deal. The 31-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
