Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie: 'Bubble site' NBA games begin July 15

On Wednesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe reported that the 2019-20 NBA season that came to a halt on March 11 because of the coronavirus pandemic could restart by late July.

If one NBA player is correct, fans will get basketball back even sooner.

While responding to a tweet on Thursday afternoon, Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie said that games are scheduled to start back up on July 15:

The previous day, Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic, along with NBA insider Keith Smith, named Walt Disney World Resort as a front-runner to be at least one supposed "bubble site."

Wojnarowski and Lowe reported Las Vegas is also in the running to be a temporary basketball hub.

As things stand on Thursday evening, clubs anticipate they'll learn the guidelines for the returns of all players to facilities around June 1. Soon after that, players and other club personnel may be asked to quarantine and self-isolate leading up to training camps that could last between two and three weeks before games get underway.
