Nets star Kevin Durant passes Carmelo Anthony as all-time U.S. Olympic scoring leader
Kevin Durant stands alone as the United States men's basketball all-time scorer at the Olympics with 354 points, passing three-time gold medalist Carmelo Anthony.
The 32-year-old entered Saturday's contest against the Czech Republic just behind Anthony's all-time record of 336 points. He scored 23 points in the United States 119-84 win, adding eight rebounds and six assists.

Durant has played in a total of 19 Olympic games from the 2012 London Games, 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and 2020 Tokyo Games. He was the team's leading scorer in 2012 and 2016.
The Brooklyn Nets star also leads USA's all-time career Olympics stats for points averaged (18.9), fourth in games played, fourth in rebounds (88), third in most field goals, first for three-point field goal attempts (203), first in three-point field goals made (60) and tied for sixth in three-post shooting percentage (.526).
Anthony was on the U.S. team that captured bronze at the Athens Games in 2004. He then won gold at the 2008 Beijing Games, 2012 London Games and 2016 Rio Games.
