Adam Sandler is going with a deep cut to help headline his latest movie.

On Friday, the veteran actor tweeted out an official trailer for his latest film “Hustle,” which will be released on Netflix June 10. Sandler stars as a past-his-prime basketball scout who discovers a young phenom overseas and tries to overcome the odds to get him to the NBA. The phenom is played by a pretty unexpected NBA player: Utah Jazz forward Juancho Hernangomez.

The film also features cameos from other NBA players like Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, Anthony Edwards and Seth Curry. LeBron James and his media firm SpringHill Co. are listed as producers as well.

Hernangomez is an interesting choice. He is a little-known player who has been on five teams in his NBA career, averaging just 5.3 points per game overall, but from that trailer, his acting chops are pretty on point.

As for Sandler, he is a big basketball fan who has many connections around the league. He had a viral interaction last year with one of the players who appears in his film. Perhaps the “Hustle” cameo was what they were talking about at the time.
