On Saturday night, the Delaware Blue Coats took on the Birmingham Squadron, hoping to pull off their second win in a row against the New Orleans Pelicans' G League affiliate.

Their first meeting on Friday night would be a tight affair, with the two sides changing the lead ten times, yet for a significant chunk of the game, it was the Squadron's to lose.

The Squadron held a 20-point lead at the height of their dominance in the match, thanks in part to Malcom Hill and Izaiah Brockington, with the partnership combining for 44 points.

Terquavion Smith would help lift the Blue Coats above the Squadron, dropping 26 points on 47 percent shooting, with fellow two-way stars Ricky Council IV and Jeff Dowtin combining for 44 points.

Perhaps the biggest name in Friday's game was Kai Jones, who recently signed a 10-Day contract with the Sixers following his departure from the Charlotte Hornets earlier on in the season.

Jones would have himself a night, dropping 14 points while also recording eight rebounds and five steals, proving to be a presence on both sides of the court.

Saturday night's matchup appeared to be similar to the one on the night prior, with the Sixers' new signing scoring eight points and grabbing seven rebounds across 17 minutes on the court. Unfortunately, that's all that Jones would be able to do as he left the game early.

When both sides emerged back onto the court at halftime, Jones didn't appear to be himself, which was subsequently followed by his return to the locker room. Soon after, Jones was ruled out for the rest of the night due to a hamstring strain, per a team official.
